The embossing is quite simple to do, and you probably have everything you need to make these embossed snowflake ornaments. Materials Needed:
- white foam plate
- snowflake cookie cutter
- a dull pencil
- scissors
- hole punch
- ribbon or string
- glitter glue and paintbrush (optional)
How to Make Embossed Snowflake Ornaments:
To begin, place the snowflake cookie cutter onto the foam plate. Next, invite your child to use a pencil to trace around the outside of the cookie cutter. With the design traced, have your child use scissors to carefully cut out the design. Young kids may need a bit of grown-up help with cutting out the ornament. Next, invite your child to use a pencil to press firmly into the foam ornament to create an embossed design. Alternatively, a pen cap can be used to emboss small circles too.
