Here is a step by step video tutorial to make your own peppermint ice cream in a bag:
Prepare the Ice Bag:
Begin by filling the gallon sized zip top bag about half way with ice. Next, add 6 Tbsp of salt to this bag and set it aside.
Prepare the Ice Cream Ingredients Bag:
In a separate quart sized zip top bag, add 1 tsp sugar, 1/4 cup half & half, 1/4 cup milk, and 1/4 tsp peppermint extract. Seal the bag completely.
Make the Ice Cream:
Place the completely sealed ice cream ingredients bag into the ice/salt bag. Seal up the ice/salt bag. Wear gloves, and shake vigorously for 5 minutes.
Tip – it is more fun to make ice cream in a bag with friends. Take turns passing the bag around to shake!
Prepare the Peppermint Sprinkles:
Use a rolling pin to crush 2-3 candy canes. Set aside.
Time to Eat!
Open the ice/salt bag and remove the separate ice cream bag. Spoon the ice cream into a small bowl and top with a mini candy cane and the peppermint sprinkles. Serve immediately. Yum!!
Wow, that’s so cute and adorable, thank you for sharing such interesting things.
I hope that my daughter learn to do this ice cream. She always like things that i find at different websites 🙂
I’m working as a writer, and because of that i can work at home, and it’s great that i can spend a lot of time with her. I’d like to teach her how to make a lot of handmade things. Now I’m looking for articles about hats, because summer is coming and it would be cute if she can walk with friends in hat that was made by her own hands 🙂
Thanks again!
