These 4th of July party hats are quick and easy to make! They are a great way to keep the kids busy while they wait for fireworks. Special thanks to Mrs. Mactivity for providing us with this fabulous printable template!! The kids can color their own 4th of July party hats using the black and white template. If you are using the black and white template, invite your child to use colored pencils or crayons to color the party hat. My daughter loves to color, so the black and white template was a big hit with her!
Next, invite your child to use scissors to carefully cut along the dotted lines of the template to cut out the party hat pieces.
Once all the pieces are cut, use double-sided tape or glue stick to attach the straps to the back of the crown. Next, measure the straps against your child’s head. Lastly, attach the straps in the back to fit as needed.
