Balloon Animals for Beginners:
Hi, I’m Emily from Inner Child Fun. I am eleven years-old. Why don’t you join me for some crafty fun? For this project, we are going to make balloon animals, particularly DOGS! Once you learn how to make a balloon dog, other animals use many of the same techniques. If you think I should share other balloon animal tutorials, leave a comment on this post with the name of an animal you think I should try next. I love to make balloon animals for my little sister (age 7), and these are fun to make for parties too!
To make a balloon dog, you will need (affiliate link):
- Twist Balloons
- …that’s it!
Make the Balloon Dog Nose and Head:
Grab the end that you use to tie. Go about an inch or so away and twist.
It might take you a little while to twist it because you have to make sure it stays.
Make sure you hold it when you are done though.
Make another twist that is a little bit longer and another one parallel to that.
Then you are going to twist the two twists together. This is called a LOCK TWIST.
Make the Balloon Dog Front Legs:
Now you are going to make a twist for the neck and two other twists for the front feet.
You don’t want to let it go feetless, do you?
Now you are going to lock twist the two together. Yippee!
Now you have got the front part of the dog.
Make the Balloon Dog Body, Back Legs, and Tail:
Find a place that is suitable for your body. At the end of that place, pinch and twist.
Then make the same procedure that we have done with the ears and the front legs.
Leave a little bit behind though, because that will be your tail.
