It’s no secret that being a parent is hard work. Parents are constantly juggling a million different things and trying to do their best. Sometimes, in the midst of all the craziness, it can be easy to forget to show your kids just how much you love them. Luckily, there are lots of small ways that you can make a big impact and show your kids you care.
Here are 5 easy ways to show your kids you love them:
Leave a special note in their lunchbox.
This is a great way to start their day off with a smile. A few examples could be as simple as: “I’m so grateful for you. You are amazing and loved.” or “You’re one of a kind! I hope your day is as wonderful as you are.” It only takes a few seconds to write something like this, but it could mean the world to your kids. This set of pre-made lunchbox notes would make an inspiring addition to your child’s lunch too!
Have an at-home spa day of pampering.
Give them a bath, put on some facemasks, and give them a pedicure. Have a few healthy snacks, and play some relaxing music too. They will feel so loved!
Play their favorite sport or game together.
This is a great way to bond and have some fun with your kids! They will definitely appreciate the time you took to play with them.
Read them bedtime stories.
Snuggle up in bed together and read your favorite children’s books. This is a great way to wind down before bed and it’s also a nice way to show your kids how much you love them. If you are in need of a little inspiration, here’s a handy list of some of our favorite read-aloud story books!
