This was a super-easy and quick activity that Emily enjoyed, and all we used were some old magazines and a package of googly eyes!! We used self-adhesive googly eyes, which you can buy here from Amazon for some no-mess silly fun!
Emily had a great time “enhancing” the photos in the magazines! Here are some of my favorites —
We quickly found that baby animals look even more adorable with googly eyes!!
Somehow this spaghetti looks even tastier when googly eyes are added to the photo!
And my personal favorite… babies with GIANT googly eyes!!!
I don’t think I can resist leaving one of these magazines in the waiting room at our next doctor’s appointment. Lots of fun!!
Goofy, mess-free fun! Gotta love it! =)
Um thanks, I just snorted coffee up my nose. Hahahaha! I just love this!
And I’m totally traveling around with a pair of googly eyes in my pocket, I’m thinking my near-sighted mother will not notice for a few days if I defile her family portraits with gigantic googly eyes. Hehehee – this is going to be the best April Fools’ ever!
Hahahaha!!
Dear Valerie,
It’s like living in a cartoon. You should start adding eyes to inanimate objects next.
Love,
Mark
Clara stuck some on her belly, and made her belly button look like it was talking. Where did she learn that from??? ๐
This epitomizes what I love about your blog. Fun. Plain and simple fun. Thanks.
Oh, the last picture is priceless. Emily definitely inherited Mark’s sense of humor ๐
LOL thats great!! I totally think you need to leave one at the doctor’s office ๐
so cute and fun . i think i need to pick another bag up i seen them at the dollar store
I love this! Too funny. I vaguely remember someone writing a blog post about sticking googly eyes in strange places around the house (on cabinet doors, on the mirror, etc.) for her kids to find; I bet your girls AND MARK would have fun with that!
We had them on our TV for awhile, which was weird because it felt like the TV was watching US! lol
That is an awesome idea! So funny and enjoyable! You come up with the greatest ideas!
That is soooo funny – my kids will go nuts for it!
