Clara and I made a fun Christmas tree using a few office supplies, and the best part..? No clean up! (Yay for no-mess crafts!) They are quick and easy to make too!
I cut two identical pine tree shapes out of colored card stock (I recycled a torn file folder), then invited Clara over to place color coding labels (ornaments) on the trees!! She was SO happy to play with stickers!!!
All these stickers made for some fun practice for fine-motor skills!
Cover the front and back of both trees with stickers….fun!!
To make your tree stand upright, cut a slit from the bottom up to the middle of one tree, and another slit from the top to the middle of the other tree. Slide the pieces into the place, and add a sticky note star to the top for a nice finishing touch!
Clara was thrilled to see her Christmas tree on display — so proud!
Have fun!!

Dear Valerie,
Don’t you wish that decorating the real tree was so easy?
Love,
Mark
That would be awesome. I’m looking forward to the girls’ decorating “help” this year!
Next week I am hosting a Christmas tree themed story hour. Guess what the craft is going to be?
Thanks, this will be perfect!
Yay!!! That sounds like a lot of fun! Enjoy!!
That is great! My tot will be doing this craft for sure.
So happy to hear that! Have fun!! xoxo
Way cute. I could see a little village of these
Or forest
That would be CUTE!!
Ah very cute and simple! I love it! Definitely a fun little project my daughter could even do in the car during our long holiday road trip!
That’s a great idea! Those color coding labels are so much fun for crafting on-the-go!
I think my older-than-tots boys would love doing this, too.
Yay!! Have fun!!! It’s great for all ages! 🙂
OK, this is definitely perfect for using all those extra Christmas stickers we have. Thanks for the idea!
You’re welcome! xoxo
I love that idea. Especially with no mess to clean up. Your daughter did an awesome job on her tree.
Thanks, Stacie! She loves to use stickers!! And I love that there was nothing to clean up afterwards! 🙂
Great, thanks. We’ll be making one of these soon.
Have fun!!! 🙂
Oh love this idea! Anything with stickers is a hit in our house 😉
LOL What’s not to like about stickers? Enjoy!!
Adorable!
Thanks so much, Deborah!
That is very clever! Will have to give it a try with my kids.
Have fun!! 🙂
Oh Christmas tree,
Oh Christmas tree,
Office supplies adorn your branches…
(You have to sing that last line super fast…) :0)
LOL I LOVE it!!! 🙂 Your comments always make me smile!
We just did this and the kids loved it! by the way, you should contact the sticker company to become their spokesperson. I actually buy them now since you come up with so many crafts for them….
I’m SO happy you did this!! That’s not a bad idea — I always seem to come up with fun things to do with these! LOL I just think they’re so much fun!!
Very cute!
We tried to make 3D stars following this same idea. Well, I guess I should say I tried to have the kids make 3D stars. They all insisted on coloring one side only, and did NOT under any circumstances want their stars joined together. Wonder if they would make a Christmas tree…
Ha!! I love how opinionated they are! So cute!!
Plan to make this tree tomorrow and use Duck and Goose: It’s Time for Christmas. Love that book. For another Christmas tree craft I used colored hole reinforcers…you know…those doughnut stickers you use when you accidentally tear a page out of three ring binder. So sorry for the poor description. It is getting late. 🙂
What a great book to go along with this project! That’s a great idea for the hole reinforcer stickers!!!
It is such a cute little tree. She should be proud!
Awww… thanks, Debby! xoxo
Hooray for the linking finally working! Thank you for persevering!
And love your idea of using those office stickers! They look great and yes, no mess. My son would love it. He hates getting glue on his fingers. Then again, he loves sticking stickers on his shirt, so I wonder whether he would put them on the tree… only one way to find out!
Thanks again for linking
Maggy
Love this idea. We did one this week! I could even manage it while carrying a sleeping newborn everywhere. 🙂
