We have lots of Star Wars fans in this family. In fact, we have a tradition of watching Star Wars movie marathons at home while waiting for the turkey to cook on Thanksgiving Day! Naturally, we have been counting down the days until the upcoming release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story© TM Lucasfilm LTD in theaters. If you are looking for an easy way to add a touch of Star Wars decor to your home, Kleenex brand will be partnering with Lucasfilm LTD to make special limited-edition boxes featuring Rogue One: A Star Wars Story designs. The newly designed boxes will be available in stores later this Fall. Woo hoo!!

DIY Starry Sky Night Light

As a mom of two school aged kids, I try to have tissues on-hand at all times, but especially during the cold and flu season. We are even planning to donate a few boxes to my daughter’s classroom. Sometimes small acts can have big impact. This is a great opportunity to do extraordinary things that are both big and small.

I love how happy my kids were to have the chance to preview the new Kleenex boxes with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story designs! The best part is that with this easy DIY craft, the fun doesn’t have to end once the tissues are gone. This starry sky night light would look great in any child’s bedroom!

To make a starry sky night light of your own, you will need:

  • An empty tissue box — Added bonus points for using an empty Kleenex brand box featuring Star Wars designs because they are super cool!
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch tool
  • Battery powered tea light
