It wasn’t until the other day that I realized how much my son’s interests had changed from the beginning of the year. In these past twelve months, he’s grown from a 4 year old preschooler to a 5 year old little boy. The past year went by like a blur, making me realize that I need to capture some of the big moments and memories from 2013 on paper. So I put together this easy to fill out “Year in Review” printable for my son and I to fill out together about his year. This is a great way to look at the past year while we prepare to celebrate the New Year!
I loved hearing all his answers and helping him write them down. This year I had to do most of the writing, but next year, I think that he’ll be able to write more on his own. My son’s favorite part was the blank boxes. I gave him the option of either gluing down pictures or drawing his own. He ended up doing one each way.
I can’t wait to look back on this printable in December of next year to see how much he’s changed. I think this is going to be an annual project in our house for the whole family!
