To make your own mini piñata, you will need: a cardboard roll (from an empty paper towel roll), masking tape, red party streamers or tissue paper, green tissue paper, some string, scissors, and of course candy!

Begin by cutting the cardboard tube in half as shown.

Next, cut into one of the ends of the tube to make four equal sections, like so.

Mold into shape, and hold in place with masking tape.

Next, cut fringe along the edge of a length of red party streamer, or a strip of red tissue paper.

Begin wrapping the fringed paper around the cardboard tube starting from the bottom and working your way up the tube. Hold in place with tape. Fill your piñata with candy, then add the string, and finish off with some green tissue paper leaves on top. You can hold the leaves in place with a rubber band.
