Homemade food gifts are awesome–they are fun to give, fun to receive, and fun to eat! We have a lot of visitors coming this summer and we were trying to come up with a fun little welcome gift for them. Then it came to me, s’mores in a jar!
How to Make S’mores in a Jar
- graham crackers
- marshmallows
- chocolate candy bar
- kitchen scissors
- 4 oz. jelly jars
- wooden skewers
- washi tape
- cupcake liners
These are a breeze to put together once you figure out how to get the graham crackers inside the jar. To do that I used my kitchen scissors to trim the graham cracker square so that it would fit inside. Once that was done I set the uncooked s’mores inside the jars and put a cupcake liner on top. Then the kids helped me jazz up the wooden skewers with washi tape and they were ready to go!
S’mores in a jar are great welcome gift, but they would also be fun to send home with dinner guests or to give away to brighten someone’s day. If you take the metal top off you can even melt them in the microwave for an ooey gooey treat! I can’t wait to make another batch!
YUM! 🙂
They are good! Thanks Jane!!!
