What could possibly be more fun than playing with snow?? Playing with snow in your monkey pajamas!! Woo hoo!!!
1 Container of Clean Snow + plastic spoons + ice cream scoop + empty yogurt containers = 1 Happy Kiddo!
Pajamas are not strictly required, though they are highly recommended — as is a towel to catch any “escaping ice cream”.
This little ice cream shop kept Clara happily entertained for a long time, and she got to observe how snow melts into water — a sneaky science lesson!
Have fun!!
Dear Valerie,
I have two observations:
1. The 9,999 more of those bowls of snow, and you will have shoveled the driveway.
2. Snow lasts for several hours without melting all that much in our house.
Love,
Mark
I don’t know whether to be happy or sad about #2. Our house is freakin’ cold! π
How cute! We love bringing snow in to play!
It’s so much fun! And it had a magical way of keeping Clara happily occupied for long periods of time… Yay!!
What a cute and fun activity. And I think it’s freakin’ cold in everyone’s house right now!
Amen to that! I, for one, am hoping for an early Spring this year!!!
What a great idea and we have those PJS too!
Thanks, Cathy! Aren’t they just the cutest?? I’m going to be so sad when she out-grows them… sniff, sniff
Hey, it’s not freaking cold in my California house. Snow play inside – how fun.
Send some of that sunshine this way, will ya? π
Now do another science of turning that clean snow into actual ice cream!! It is so much fun π
Oh, I like that idea!!
We keep our house warm – about 68 degrees. I could not live in a cold house!!!!
I have been thinking of bringing some snow inside to play, but this idea is super cute.
Thanks, Christy! It is super-easy to set up, and kept her busy for a good long while. A win-win in my book! Have fun!!
That would be so much fun, unfortunately- no snow here in Australia, not even in winter!
Oh, I wish I could package some up and mail it your way! Playing in snow is lots of fun, and there is no shortage of the stuff around here!! π
What a great way to play with the snow! It’s 14 today, so staying inside sounds like a good idea.
Yes, stay inside! Wow, that is bitter cold. Have fun with this!! xoxo
That reminds me of a project I’ve been wanting to make
Super fun idea if you have snow
We have piles and piles of it! I’m starting to forget that there is actually grass underneath all of that snow.
Just adorable!!!
Awww… thank you, Jacque! π
We’ll be trying this tomorrow…more snow expected π We should have no problem finding clean snow.
I know what you mean! Unbelievable how much snow we’ve gotten this year, isn’t it???
Dear Valerie,
Does Clara *own* clothes?
Love,
Tera π
Hahahahahahahhaa!!!!
It’s been scientifically proven that crafts are 57% more fun when done in your pajamas. That’s a fact! π
That is fantastic.
Awww.. thanks,Ashley!
Love it! My daughter has been sick for the past two days and longing to play in the snow. What a brilliant idea! I can bring the snow IN. We will be doing that tomorrow. Thanks!
Yay!!! Have fun and I hope she feels better soon!! xoxo
Well, since we reached the upper 60’s here in East Tennessee today, I don’t think we will be playing with indoor snow any time soon…
(I know, I know, don’t hate me ’cause of my GORGEOUS weather!) :0)
Ack! Send some of it this way, please!!
Looks so fun!
Thanks, Amanda! π
Have a fun making snow cones!! Are you guys suppose to get that nasty snow storm?
Yes, and it was pretty bad. The kids didn’t have school for several days!!
Such a fun idea to do this inside and with the yogurt cups! We’ll have to do this too!
Yay! Have fun, Jenni!!! π
Looks like she had fun with this one!
It was a blast! I love how such simple things can make her so happy!!
You come up with the funniest ideas!! I wish you were my mommy!! Im so glad I subscribe to your blog.
Fun! If we had all that snow, I’d make snow cream!!
