Fun with Music — Ribbon Dancing!

We had rain all day, and the girls needed to burn off some energy. So we tied some ribbon onto some canning lids, cranked up some Latin music, and had a DANCING fiesta in our living room!!

Woo hoo!! Both of the girls had so much fun!!!

Weeeeeeeeee!!!
You know I can’t resist an excuse to get down and boogie…. I joined in too!!
So much fun!!

    Lookin' good, mamacitas! :>) Had to laugh, though – I stumbled across something similar in a catalog and was going to make them for my niece for her upcoming birthday. Great minds and all that!

    @ Lenetta — They are very easy to make! We made some last year, and danced outside with them. Have fun!! I'm sure your niece will love them!!

    THis is fun. In the past we have purchased shower curtain rings from the dollar store and used them for danincing ribbons too!

    @ Scott — Before I posted this, and you and Lenetta commented, I had no idea that these were sold in catalogs/online stores! I thought it was something people just made! I totally live under a rock. I do recommend making them yourself — much cheaper and the kids can pick out what ribbon they want to add!!

    @ Raising a Happy Child — I always get nervous giving her the camera because it's almost as big as her head, but she probably snapped about 50 pics in the span of about 30 seconds. Pretty soon, she'll want her own blog! 😉

    Sweet!! My little often grabs ribbons from my craft stash and says she is doing a ribbon dance. I need to make her something like this. (love your skirt too)
