Cheap Thrills — Tea Time Edition

For a fun time, take photos of your child (or yourself) jumping around. Print out the photos, cut them out, and attach to the end of the string of a tea bag.
They make fabulous tea tags!!
Lucky for us, we have plenty of aforementioned photos, since Emily is constantly in motion! In mind were these tea tags from a café in Turkey. We found they were easy (and so much fun) to make ourselves.
I think they would be the perfect gift — with a personalized touch! They would be great for grandparents, aunts, uncles, and of course, teachers. Basically anyone who loves tea! And who doesn’t love tea??

And for us, tea time just became a whole lot more fun!

  13. so cute! is it just a piece of scotch tape holding it onto the back of the photo or did you sandwich it somehow?

  14. These are adorable, fantastic photos of Emily, too!

  15. Valerie @ Frugal Family Fun Blog says

@ Amy's Stocking Stuffers — I've never heard of making tea for cats, but why not?? 🙂 I bet they would look super-cute, especially if you can snap some pictures of the cats stretching!

@Tricia — Awww… that's so sweet, thank you! I've bookmarked the I Heart Faces challenge, and I would have never known about it. Thanks so much for the heads up!

  16. Valerie @ Frugal Family Fun Blog says

@ danita — Yes, just a bit of tape works fine. You could also sandwich the string between two pieces of paper (photo on one side, blank on the other) and use a glue dot to attach them.

  17. Now that's so freaking cool! I think you're right – my mom would love that!

  18. I agree these are so totally cute. I should make something like these for my daughters Graduation party this summer. Maybe like little stir stick toppers.
