This one is from my friends at Highlights High Five, an ad-free magazine designed specifically for children ages 2-6. Each monthly issue features stories, poems, Hidden Pictures®, a fabulous craft**, kid-friendly recipes, and more!! I recently featured the magazine as one of our favorite activities for quiet time. A subscription to Highlights High Five would be a wonderful holiday gift, which is why I am so happy to host this giveaway!

We have gotten sample of this and my son loves to do the seek and finds and the sticker match ups the best. I love the short stories, enough to teach a lil lesson but not to long that he looses interest. This would be a great holiday gift!

Been wanting to get a subscription for my son. We’ve only had one copy a few months ago, but he really liked the page with the silly things hidden in it. He likes to imitate mommy by looking at his magazine at night.

My grandkids LOVE getting magazines in the mail. One of their favorite activities in Highlights is Find the Hidden Pictures. Now that they are starting to read they are very interested in the short stories as well.

I teach special education for kindergarten, first and second grade. Having a subscription to Highlights Hi Five would give my reluctant readers a great start to the idea of reading and the great activities would be a HUGE resource in my classroom, especially the crafts!!! If I had a monthly subscription I would be able to keep my kids interested in the magazine and keep them interested in reading magazines so they could move on to more difficult text!

oh I LOVE Highlights, and love the High Five idea! I have never been able to subscribe for my kids because honestly the cost overwhelms the budget a bit–but I SO love the magazine, from when I was a kid! And have perused in Doctor offices….OK, the favorite for my little one would definitely be the crafts!

My children like everything about this magazine. We started getting it with the very first issue that came out, but stopped just last year when a grandparent bought a subscription to something else for them. It sure would be nice to get this one again, though. I didn’t realize how much I appreciate that it’s ad free until we got something that wasn’t. My kids still pull out our old magazines to do the “Action Rhymes.”

I am a ‘just retired’ Kindergarten teacher and had a subscription to this magazine for my classroom for… well, forever!! The ‘hidden pictures’ always made a hit in class (I would put a sheet of plastic on that page and the kiddos would use wipe-off markers on it so more than one child could have the fun.) I can’t even begin to tell you how many times we’d use the recipes in the magazine in class! We cooked alot!!My one and only grandchild would LOVE this…she’s very detail oriented and adores cooking and would sooo enjoy the ‘hidden pictures’ and fun recipes as well!

My little 3-year-old always picks an old issue of High Five out of the box in the waiting room for speech therapy. She loves to ask me to read it, especially the comic about the dog “Spot.” I’m pretty sure that is a regular feature. She would be over the moon to get the magazine in the mail for her!
