Hi there!
I’m not a mom yet, but I normally take care of my little brothers. One of them is 4 years old, and the other one is only one! Both of them are boys and are really restless!! But one of the activities when they are really quiet, is seen TV, or reading, (I read to them). They love hear me read! They just turn the pages, and see the pictures! They have a lot of favorite books, like the classics ones, others like Marley bad dog! My first words, or from the cartoons that they see on tv. Like Dora the Explorer, Thomas and Friends, Bob the Builder, The Backyardigans… and others.
Thank you for this amazing giveaway. I know kids will love to read on the Ipad. I normally let my 3 years old brother to play sometimes with my ipod. He loves it!!

My daughter and I love to read together. Especially books about animals – factual books as well as books about pretend animals that do amazing things. Reading has encouraged Hannah to pretend, sometimes before the story is even over she’s already pretending to be whatever animal has caught her attention most. I enjoy the reading most because it provides a time for us to snuggle and discuss and learn!

We have books in a basket downstairs, a book shelf in the hall upstairs and a box of boxes that I rotate in so that the books are always new. We read before rest time, before bedtime, and anytime I want them to settle down. My kids love love love books. We’ve even started listening to chapter books in the car.

Our favorite time to read is just before lunch. It isn’t as hectic as before bedtime. Right now her favorite book is Where is Maisy? From the cute series. And she loves to read books with me anywhere, but she always climbs in my lap!

I read to my two girls whenever I can! I read to them from signs, billboards, cereal boxes and even BOOKS!! My 2.5 year old loves “Apples Up On Top,” “The Caboose that got Loose,” and anything about Curious George. (Ridiculous Brown Nosing Attempt Alert:) She also reads “Target!!” from the outside of the building, whenever I shop there. She recognizes the word from the road every time. But my favorite book to read to them is the Bible – I’m consistently surprised by all that they *do* understand
Thanks for the opportunity to win, Valerie!! Your blog is amazing.

We almost always read right before bed. I get into my bed with my two kids and we chill and read for about 20 minutes. It’s great wind down time! And my fave book from childhood has to be Frog and Toad Together!
