Come visit me over at Stonyfield’s blog, where I did a fun guest post on showing how to create an Invention Kit! If you don’t already have an Invention Kit at your house, this is the perfect time of year to put one together for lots of creative fun during long Winter days. It is our go-to boredom buster, and it’s practically free to create one! You can see more details at Stonyfield’s blog, The Buzz!

Dear Valerie,
This is what it is like at our house:
You: Where’d that container from the crackers go?
Me: I recycled it.
You: ….. why?
Me: Because… it’s the right thing to do?
You: But… but.. but I could CRAFT WITH THAT. HOW CAN YOU BE SO INSENSITIVE.
Me: … really.
Both: hahahahaha!
Love,
Mark
No recyclable is safe from the crafty after-life in this house!
All part of my plan to take over the world and rule with an iron fist — Muhahahaha!!!
That sounds a lot like the conversations that go on at our house 🙂
lol Happens here all the time! 🙂
Great idea. I also have recyclable items and it would be great to put them together in a “kit” and let kids figure out what to do with it 🙂 Great way to inspire creativity.
We’ve had an Invention Kit for a few years now, and I love that just by having one in the house it helped the girls to think of things in different ways. We get really excited when we come up for a new use for something! It’s fun!!
