We made our own sunshine today! There was lots of sunbathing….
…jumping around in our bathing suits, dancing to music by The Beach Boys…
…reading trashy novels (or library books)….
…and what beach day would be complete without ice pops?
Now, if you’ll excuse me…. I think I hear my piña colada calling.
Dear Valerie,
My previously endless supply of blue paper!!
Love,
Mark
What a fun idea!!!
@ Mark — Just do me a favor and don't look at the thermostat when you get home. Hee hee!
Wow – you are just so very creative!
How fun! I was wondering if you had cranked up the thermostat 😉
Very cute. And I love your thermostat comment – it makes all the difference for the ice pops!
Awww, I used to do this with my older two when they were this age! How I miss those days…
Wow — you went all out once again. I can't believe the detail you put into those leaves. It looks like the perfect way to spend another blah winter day.
I love it!
Love it! What great ideas you have!! Love your blog – you are a link on my blog! Can't wait to keep seeing what you post 🙂
Oh that looks like so much fun! You rock mom!
~ Jennifer
Ahhh- all the fun and none of the sunburn…
I can use a sun tan. I'll be right over
such fun!
I love your quilt too. Did you make it?
That looks like so much fun. 🙂 Our beach day was not as warm as yours. But it was really nice to be there.
Love Val
After fifteen minutes working on cleaning my windshield, my hot coffee was iced!!! Got room on that beach blanket for one more?
Reading suggestion: "One Dog Canoe"
I'll bet you could make a super fun activity out of that storybook's plot.
Okay, you and your girls have way too much fun!
@ Suzi Dow — Now I am intrigued! Thanks for the heads-up!
That's so cute and the girls look like they're having so much fun. Where do you find the time?
Dear Mark,
Yesterday it was the sandpaper. Today it's the blue paper. Either you're being jacked for your supplies or you're not being truthful. Picture me with eyebrow raised. LOL
Enjoy the sun,
Petula
Dear Valerie,
When I was looking at the pictures and noticed the vent I was wondering if you had turned up the heat. Fabulous! 😀
I would have done the same thing!
Petula
looks so much fun!
How much FUN!!
Make mine a margarita!
Looks fun! We certainly could use a little of that sunshine 🙂
very cute idea! Looks like fun!
Hi from New Zealand, What fun, I will hand that idea on to my sister who has two little ones, cheers Marie
What a fun idea!
I've been looking for blogs like this one, but for some reason have a hard time finding them. This one is definitely fun and I'll be checking back often for ideas.
