We were blessed with beautiful weather here today, so Mark and I took the girls to go pick peaches this afternoon. It was so much fun and the peaches were delicious! I can’t wait to make some yummy peach cobbler with them… Mmmmm…. It doesn’t get any fresher than this, and at $1.35/lb. it was a great frugal weekend activity.
Picking Peaches

I don't think I've ever had peach ice cream; it sounds delicious! 🙂
Those peaches look delicious! I love the top picture of Emily, and Clara is looking very grown up!
The first picture is so beautiful! I would like to try that peach ice cream. Peaches are one of my favorite foods; I hope to go peach picking soon. Clara is so cute – love the beginning stages of walking.
What fun! Sounds yummy and I love that Clara is toddling around.
We live near a farm that also has peach trees… It's a great activity!
Looks like so much fun! I wish we had something like that near us!

So delicious. Summertime is the only time I miss having a car. I would like to be able to go fruit and berry picking every weekend!
We don't have peaches around here… we are far to rainy an area. BUT just across the mountains there are peaches galore and I have ordered 5 boxes of them for week after next. 🙂 Will you share Marks recipe for icecream? I bet cyan would LOVE to try that. 🙂

Those pictures are beautiful! And the peaches look some yummy. … So, I'll be waiting for my invite for ice cream and cobbler. 🙂
I LOVE that first picture, wow is that adorable and a keeper!
Of course all of them are lovely but that one really touched me☺ I'd frame it.
@ Val in the Rose Garden — Oh yes, I will most definitely be posting Mark's recipe for peach ice cream! He takes his ice cream very seriously.
@ Katie — Awww… thanks so much, Katie! That means a lot coming from you, since you always have such nice photos on your blog – especially the portraits of ER…wow!
@ MaryAnne — I know what you mean… Clara seems to be growing so quickly… **sigh** Hope you are enjoying time spent with your family's newest addition!
Yum! I am so jealous. Peaches don't grow here for some reason. Probably the ungodly cold.
They look really delicious!
