Simple (and Delicious) Pleasures for Fall

The fall season is quickly approaching, and one of my favorite simple pleasures this time of year is to make a quick run to our local bakery for some tasty treats to bring back home and share with family and friends! Some of my personal favorites are pumpkin muffins, fresh whole grain bread with currants, and coffee cake muffins. Yummy!!  Simple (and Delicious) Pleasures for Fall I also LOVE to top freshly baked muffins and bread with butter because it takes me back to my childhood and the taste of fresh butter always makes me think that I’m really treating myself! However, waiting for butter to soften when it comes out of the fridge can seem like such a long time (especially for my two eager kiddos!) That is why I was so happy to discover LAND O LAKES® Butter with Canola Oil! It’s super convenient because it is spreadable right from the refrigerator, and it is made with just 3 simple ingredients: sweet cream, canola oil, and salt. That’s it! That happens to be fewer ingredients than any other spreadable butter or non-butter spreadable products. I love that LAND O LAKES® Butter with Canola Oil is creamy and delicious with a fresh butter taste! Simple (and Delicious) Pleasures for Fall The flavor pairs so nicely to enhance some of my favorite fall foods and recipes as a spread and topping, but LAND O LAKES® Butter with Canola Oil can also be used for cooking and baking. It would be great to try with mashed sweet potatoes or melted over roasted vegetables. Mmmmm…. And don’t forget tasty breakfast foods like on top of pancakes, French toast, or waffles. Delicious! Since it is so easily spreadable, I love that even my youngest daughter can spread LAND O LAKES® Butter with Canola Oil over her toast or whole wheat English muffin to help make her own breakfast in the morning and encourage a bit of independence in the kitchen.
