There is so much Spring crafting going on at this house, and we are anxiously awaiting warmer weather! When Emily saw Clara’s cloud painting, she instantly wanted to do a painting project with the shower poof as well. I don’t blame her — they are such fun painting tools!
We used a sheet of green paper folded in half to form the card. Emily decided to paint fluffy chicks by dipping the shower poof in some yellow washable paint, and stamping to make the chick’s body. Emily loves stamping & painting projects, so this was a big hit!! Yay!!
Allow the paint to dry completely, and once it is dry, add the details (beak, legs, etc.) with markers. Emily thought these two chicks were in love… so cute!!
If you’d like, add some googly eyes. Mail your card to someone you love!
Have fun!!

How sweet I love it!!
We are moving and I have already packed away our paint
We craft so much that I kept out some basics but not the paint. Boo! We will have to do this cute card after we move. My daughter has always been interested in those shower poofs, but we don’t use them so I always eschewed buying one. But now we have a reason to and she’ll be thrilled

No paint???? How will you survive?!??
Hope you have an easy move and a smooth transition into your new home, Heather! And once you get there, have fun crafting with your daughter! xoxo

We did it! We moved and the paint is officially unpacked. I picked up a bath poof thingy last night and we made our own cute chicks today. The bath poofs make a nice texture and my daughter had a lot of fun with it. It’s nice how easily the paint washes off for next time too! Next we’ll have to do clouds
