I’m so excited to share that I have just signed the Unplugged Summer Pact, sponsored by our friends at Michael’s®. What I love about this pact is that instead of going completely screen-free, the pact calls for 2 hours of dedicated screen-free time every day this Summer, and 2 hours a day is definitely do-able! I encourage you to take a peak at the Michael’s Unplugged Summer Pact here, and consider signing it. Why not use that time to engage in creative fun-filled activities with friends or family this Summer? Or rediscover a old hobby? Or learn a new skill?
It doesn’t hurt to plan ahead either, and here are some of our favorite Screen-Free Boredom Busters, Activities for Quiet Time, and 20 Must-Do Favorite Summer Activities for Kids (all of which are completely screen-free).

My kids cannot wait to craft their way around the world!! Every week features countries from a different continent, and the projects are really adorable. We’re planning to combine these outings with a trip to the library to learn more about these countries, and if the weather is nice, visit a local park for a picnic lunch afterwards.
