365 Days of Adventure

In just a few weeks, our family will be embarking on an exciting road trip adventure across the country! This is a trip that involves some planning in advance. We have been saving for our expenses throughout the course of the year. We set up a separate travel savings account a few years ago and have been slowly building it up. The U.S. Bank Cash 365™ American Express® Card makes it even easier to save!

This is a credit card that offers 1.5% cash back on everyday purchases, and over the course of a year, that savings can be substantial. You can even earn cash back if you use your card to pay for your regular monthly bills. The card also offers American Express benefits, rewards that never expire and there is no annual fee. However, 365 days of adventure does not have to involve massive amounts of travel!

During our everyday adventures to local parks and other nearby attractions, we use money saved in our separate adventure fund to help us discover lots of hidden gems. One of our recent favorites was visiting a nearby safari park where we took an hour-long safari ride and had up-close encounters with lots of animals! During the safari, the kids absolutely loved the chance to feed the animals as they came right up to the side of the vehicle!

On the way home, we stopped at a new (to us) ice cream stand to enjoy some frozen treats. Overall, it was a great mini-adventure that made us hungry for more nearby experiences, like a visit to the science center, museums — even a one-night glamping adventure! With the kids growing up so quickly, we have plenty of motivation to save. Hopefully, we’ll make lots of great family memories together.

365 Days of Adventure Right now, with the U.S. Bank Cash 365™ American Express® Card, you could earn a $100 customer relationship bonus! The card is offering $100 for customers who spend $500 in the first three months and have a relationship with U.S. Bank. If you do not already have a relationship, you can open one and still receive the bonus if done within 30 days. Very cool!
