I recently took the Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 along with me on a girlfriend’s getaway to celebrate a friend’s birthday. This camera made it quick and easy to have photo prints to share or for craft projects. It was an instant hit with everyone!
For this five minute photo craft, you will need:
- Fujifilm Instax photos
- washi tape
- 12-14 pipe cleaners
- a large flat stone
- colorful pony beads
- string
Begin by twisting the ends of two pipe cleaners together to form one long pipe cleaner, as shown. Once all the pipe cleaners have been extended to twice their length, gather them up and place the stone on top. Twist the gathered pipe cleaners around the stone. Begin forming the branches of the tree by twisting them into groups of 2 or 3 pipe cleaners together. Leave the ends as a single pipe cleaner. If desired, thread some colorful pony beads onto the ends of the branches. Twist them into place. This helps to eliminate any pointy ends, but also adds a nice pop of color! Cut a short piece of string and use the tape to attach the string to the back of each photo as shown. Arrange your photos onto the wire tree for a fun, festive, and personalized photo display!
