This summer, our friends at Chevrolet have offered us the opportunity to test drive the new Chevy Traverse for a full week. We are all so excited for this experience and cannot wait to share our adventure with you! I may or may not have done a little happy dance when it arrived (hint: I totally did).
We have some FUN things planned for the week ahead, and so many features of the
Chevy Traverse will be put to the test! It seats up to 8* people, so we are hoping to surprise some of our friends with a trip to the beach. Typically, if we wanted to travel together, this would require 2 cars to load all the kids and beach gear. But with the Chevy Traverse, we are looking forward to enjoying the journey together in one (very stylish) vehicle! Since it is a 2-hour road trip, the kids are also looking forward to testing out the available rear-seat entertainment system! I love that we will have plenty of space in a rich and refined interior to make the trip so much more enjoyable. Isn’t it amazing what a little extra elbow room can do to make road trips more pleasant?
There are so many features we are looking forward to experiencing with this car! Here’s a short video explaining what I am most excited about:
The timing for this test drive couldn’t have been better! This summer, my husband Mark and I are celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. Rather than hiring a babysitter and going out to dinner, we thought it would be a lot more fun to do 13 acts of kindness together as a family over the course of the summer!! Since the Chevy Traverse has the most maximum cargo space out of any car in its class, we can easily load it up with special sneaky summer deliveries (ie. s’mores making kits, or donations to the thrift store) to help brighten other people’s days!
The Chevy Traverse also features a NHTSA 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score for safety** with an available industry-first Front Center Air Bag*** — a great feature for peace of mind. I am also eager to see how the Chevy Traverse helps us with our everyday family outings and errands. This week I will be making trips to the grocery store, driving my kids to camp, and probably doing some back-to-school shopping. If we are lucky, we might be able to rescue Mark from work one afternoon for a picnic lunch!
And with that, I’m off to put this car to the test!! I have one week, so I need to make the most of it! Wishing you and your family a wonderful week, and I will be sure to post an update of the outcomes of our adventures at the end of the week! So exciting!!!
