These kids’ Thanksgiving stories are wonderful additions to the autumn book basket or story time around the holiday table!

My kids love having a book basket of seasonal stories that they can read when I am busy.  A little bit for everyone, I have set these stories into categories for different age groups. But, check all out these kids’ Thanksgiving stories to see if your kids would like a particular book  and see what gets your holiday spirit growing!

For those kids who want to know more about where all the traditions started, this book is a gem!  Showing a reenactment of Pilgrims and Native Americans alike, this is an incredible example of what could have really happened at that first Thanksgiving feast.  This beautiful photo-essay had my children pouring over this book for days!
