I think cherry blossoms are such a beautiful first sign of Spring, BUT — I’m terribly allergic to them. Boo!!! Thankfully, the girls and I crafted up some “allergy-free” cherry blossoms to enjoy in our home. They are so bright and cheerful!!
The girls gathered up some sticks from our yard (Oooo….yardwork and craft project all-in-one), and Emily showed Clara how to make tissue paper blossoms and attach them to the sticks using recycled twist ties. They had so much fun with this!
I always knew I saved those leftover twist ties for something, and using natural materials with recyclables makes this craft super frugal.
Clara was so proud to make the blossoms all by herself — so pretty!
I love how the branches look on display on our kitchen table!
Simple, frugal, and very festive!
Have fun!!
