While Emily was at school, Clara and I enjoyed working on a special surprise birthday card to give to Em later this month. It was super-easy and lots of fun to make!
We used construction paper, and drew lines with black marker for the balloon strings. Then Clara had lots of fun adding all the different colored balloons (color coding labels)!
It was a fun way for her to work on her fine-motor skills, and…..
…she snuck in a little math practice when she was all done too by counting all the balloons, then just the pink ones, just the green ones, etc.
I added a photo of Emily while she was jumping around in the driveway awhile back, and Clara loved that it looks like Emily is flying away with all these giant balloons!
