Clara loved how shiny these snowflakes turned out, plus it was a fun way to practice her developing fine-motor skills! This project kept her happily busy for a long time, and there was hardly any mess to clean up — Yay for no-mess (frugal) crafts!!!
I gave Clara a piece of tin foil to tear into small pieces. She thought this was great fun!! While she was busy doing that, I added some double-sided tape to a piece of construction paper to make a few snowflake designs.
The bits of tin foil went into a recycled yogurt container until she was ready to start adding them to the taped snowflakes. Oooo… shiny!!
…. and sparkly!!
