While I was doodling with the girls this afternoon, we made these fun peacock pictures inspired by a recent trip to the zoo! Emily was proud to be able to do this without any help from me, and Clara did a great job with only a little assistance on my part.
Start by gluing a triangle body and a head onto your piece of background paper. With a marker, draw in some legs and long strands for feathers.
At this point, Clara could barely wait to get started! She loved placing green color coding labels onto the feathers!
I think she did a great job!
Dip the eraser end of a pencil in some blue paint, and add dots to the color coding labels — this was Clara’s favorite part!
Emily thought it was great fun too!
