Quick Craft — Colorful Window Display

I thought our front door needed a bit more….. color.

So we broke out the paints and markers…..

….. and spent a good part of the afternoon covering inexpensive coffee filters with bright sweeps of color! If you’re in need of some stress relief, I highly recommend doing this — so relaxing!

There were lots of “oohs and ahhs” when the girls saw how nicely the colors blended on the coffee filters!

I love how vibrant the colors look!

Once they were dry, we cut them up to make birds, and used some window markers for the feet!!

These two are in love…. so cute!

This would be such a FUN classroom project for a window or bulletin board…..

…. and now I can’t help but smile every time I open the front door!! *glee*
