Snowflakes at Night
I cut out some paper snowflakes this afternoon, and Emily thought it would be fun to make snowflake rubbings with them!
We used black construction paper, and put the paper snowflakes underneath. Then, she used the side of a white crayon to make the rubbing. She thought they looked like snowflakes at night!
Clara gave it a try too! I used masking tape to keep the paper from sliding around on her high chair tray. I think the girls liked seeing when their snowflakes started to appear on the page… it’s like magic!
Clara wanted to do more of these, so we offered her white paper and a blue crayon the next time. She was having so much fun!
I
love watching them do crafts together!
