Coming to Disney World’s Animal Kingdom is the NEW Rivers of Light Nighttime Spectacular! This beautiful show is not to be missed. Rivers of Light celebrates the beauty of all living things using timeless art, light projections, an original musical score, and more! You will definitely want to add Rivers of Light to your list of “must see” attractions while vacationing at Disney World!

Rivers of Light Nighttime Spectacular — What You Need to Know:
When & Where
You will find the Rivers of Light Nighttime Spectacular at the Discovery River Lagoon in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. The shows are scheduled for select nights beginning February 17, 2017. The schedule is subject to change, so be sure to pick up a Times Guide in the park for the most up-to-date information. Rivers of Light runs for a total of about 15 minutes.
FastPass+
The FastPass+ option is offered for Rivers of Light, however seating is on a first-come first-served basis. To guarantee reserved premium seating, I recommend the Rivers of Light Dining Package. Dine at Tiffins or Tuskin House restaurants in Animal Kingdom park, and receive a voucher for reserved seating to Rivers of Light. Packages start at $24 for kids ages 3-9 and $39 for adults. Best Seating
To get a clear view of the floats as they enter the lagoon, the front left section of seating is fantastic!
Did You Know…?
The projections on the water screens feature never-before-seen footage from Disneynature films! Our entire family adores Disneynature films such as Bears and Monkey Kingdom for their stunning videography. The Disneynature film footage was a fabulous addition to Rivers of Light! Gorgeous!

Overall Impressions
For young kids who may be frightened by the sound of loud fireworks, the Rivers of Light Nighttime Spectacular offers a wonderful alternative. The show is calm, yet colorful, stunning, and breathtaking! It truly is a glorious show to behold and one that will be the highlight of any Disney World vacation. The combination of live performances and floating set pieces will make this nighttime show memorable for years to come.
