No Cook Chocolate Scented Playdough Recipe

I wish you could have smelled my kitchen after making this no cook chocolate scented playdough! My kids absolutely loved this invitation to play pretend Valentine chocolate shop! If the kids are old enough to know not to put play dough into their mouths, you can make your own no cook chocolate scented playdough with just 3 ingredients that you probably already have on-hand.

My kids loved making this into pretend chocolate-scented cupcakes, cookies, and pieces of pretend chocolate!

Chocolate Scented Play Dough -- no cooking and so easy!

To make your own chocolate scented play dough, you will need:

  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 1/8 cup cocoa powder
  • about a 1/4 cup cocoa butter lotion (slowly start to add more to adjust to form a consistency you like).
Tip — If you don’t already have these materials on-hand, they can usually be found in most dollar stores.

Directions:

Combine the corn starch and cocoa powder in a bowl. Slowly add the cocoa butter lotion and mix into the powder mixture until it forms a dough in the consistency you like.

That’s it! Have fun!!
