When Emily was getting ready for bed, she asked for a new night light. (Clara has been “borrowing” Emily’s night light for some time now.)
Some battery-powered LED holiday lights in a recycled plastic jar made for a fun (and frugal) “firefly” lantern!
Shhhhh…. Sweet dreams, little one!!

Dear Valerie,
It could be a night-light… or it could be a keep-them-awake-all-night-light.
Love,
Mark

Love this! I always make sure to have my daughter let the fireflies go before she goes to bed. This would be a great idea to pretend they are still there!

Oh my goodness, This idea is perfect. Battery powered and everything?! Now even I can do that. And it looks beautiful. Gave me an idea for party lights as well.
