We’ve been working hard on our garden plot this Summer, and it has been well-worth it! Here are some things from the garden that make me smile!!

Catching caterpillars on the carrots, raising them in a terrarium at home, and watching them turn into beautiful Black Swallowtail butterflies!! Magical!!!
And Emily’s first ever Lemonade stand!!!

We found an itty bitty little green cherry tomato yesterday. I wonder who will be the first to get it?!?!?

Exciting!!! We didn’t plant any cherry tomatoes this year — I’m starting to regret that decision because they are always the first to ripen & I get too impatient.

Dear Valerie,
I am quite certain that the cucumber plant is going to strangle one of our tomato plants. I’ve had to separate the two of them a few times already this season!

Very cute — I love the lemonade stand…. makes me want to have some. Great colors. I was going to attempt a garden this year – but we had a wet, cold spring and I didn’t find the time to get out there. But there is always next year.

Everything looks so great. Our veggies & herbs are tiny because we started late this year. We’ve had a lot of rain & cool weather here.

We love going to zoos because they are affordable family fun. We can’t wait to have kids so that we can take them to the zoo! Because although, there are a lot of cool animals, kids are amazed more than any adult!
