Hope everyone is having a fun Sunday! Here’s a post from last year’s archives, and an activity we would love to do again while there is still snow on the ground — snow painting! Enjoy!

This afternoon, Emily and I took some spray bottles filled with a few drops of food coloring and some water to do snow painting. This was a big hit! I had to bribe her with some hot cocoa to get her to come back inside.
I helped her spell her name out in the snow…

Dear Valerie,
It's been a long time since I've seen this post. It does, however, remind me that you used my spray bottle for this. Where did it go?
Someone needs to keep the cats in line. They are running rampant now!
Love,
Mark

@ Mark — Look under the sink. You didn't think that green bottle was glass cleaner, did you?

@Valerie
Great. Well, umm.. you always wanted green cats, right?
I sure hope so, because it's too late.

@ Mark — I haven't noticed. They must be hiding in shame.

I have been planning to do this for the longest time. Thanks for the reminder. We have lots of snow on the ground right now.

What a cute idea! I will definitely have to do this with Jenny this year… after I finally buy the poor girl some new boots (she's been begging for weeks to go out and play in the snow, but I was waiting to make sure she didn't get any boots for Christmas/birthday)! Thanks for the idea and pictures!

My kids love snow paint. So much so I need to find bigger bottles.

Great. Well, you always wanted white cats, right?

What a cute idea!!! We almost never have enough snow to actually do that, but we have a *chance* of snow later this week. I only have one child, and she's 13…but I know she'd still think this is cool!

What a simple idea that surely would be fun!

You've got snow and we've got rain. So we have been out in the rain with paper plates containing small amounts of food colouring.
We have to use the weather to our crafty advantage!
