Cheap Thrills — Indoor Hopscotch

It was far too cold outside to run around and play. Instead, we made a hopscotch grid in our foyer using masking tape on the floor!

The girls got lots of exercise! (I did too.)

We have slate flooring in our foyer, so Emily practiced writing her numbers with chalk. You could also add the numbers with masking tape, if chalk is not an option.
Jump, jump, jump!!

So much fun, and sooooo frugal!

  1. Dear Valerie,

I eagerly await the day you figure out how to make a "mop and wax the kitchen floor" game.

    Love,
    Mark

  5. I much more frugal idea than the foam hopscotch board I bought all those years ago.

  6. Valerie, You sure do have a lot of energy to keep up with your girls. How do you do it? I like this idea. I wish my younger kids had a playroom like my oldest daughter did when she was their age. I could put that down and just leave it for ongoing fun. You rock! … Oh and I'm waiting for that mop and wax game too. You'll have to share that one! :)
